Anna Cheung

Assistant Executive Director, Hong Kong Trade Development Council

 

Ms Anna Cheung is the Assistant Executive Director of the Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC), the statutory organisation dedicated to promoting Hong Kong's trade. She oversees the Council's international and mainland activities that promote Hong Kong's service industries, merchandise trade, and innovation and technology. 

 

Ms Cheung joined the Council as an Executive Trainee in 1997. From 2000 to 2002, she was posted to the Council's branch office in Milan, spearheading the Council's promotional programmes in Italy and promoting Hong Kong as a trading partner of Italy. As Associate Director from 2010-2019, she has held various positions in the Council including serving the Exhibitions division, where she managed the special events, project planning and operation of over 30 annual fairs. Her work also extended to overseeing the promotion of creative industries, ICT, as well as logistics and infrastructure related services. 

 

In 2020, Ms Cheung was appointed as Director, Service Promotion, overseeing the promotion strategies and activities related to Hong Kong's service industries and the Belt and Road Initiatives. During the period, she launched a series of events promoting Hong Kong's green-related services and biomedical sector including the Asia Summit on Global Health. She is also responsible to promote Hong Kong as a two-way global investment hub through strengthening the Council's deal-making platforms. 

 

Ms Cheung is a graduate of the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology. 

 

 

 
 

Professor Anthony Cheung 

GHG Protocol Independent Standards Board Member

 

Anthony Cheung is Managing Director and Head of ESG at one of Asia's largest multi-manager investment platforms, where he oversees ESG integration and sustainable investment strategies. With over 20 years of experience in asset management across Europe and Asia, he served at renowned institutions including Gartmore, Pictet, and BNP Paribas.

 

As the first Certified ESG Analyst (CESGA) in Asia, Anthony has served on the World Benchmarking Alliance (WBA) Supervisory Board, the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) Stakeholder Council, and the CFA Institute ESG Technical Committee. He contributes to climate governance as a board member of Friends of the Earth (HK) and the Hong Kong Institute of Directors.

 

Recognised by the 2019 Regional ESG Leader Award by Insights and Mandate, Anthony actively advocates for advancing science-based, implementable climate accounting and sustainability reporting frameworks in Asia. Anthony is a Fellow of CPA Australia and based in Hong Kong.

 

 

 
 

Professor Carlos Lo

Professor of the School of Governance and Policy Science, Director of the Centre for Business Sustainability and the Director of the Public Policy Research Centre, The Chinese University of Hong Kong

 

Professor Lo is currently the professor in the School of Governance and Policy Science, Director of the Centre for Business Sustainability and the Director of the Public Policy Research Centre at the Chinese University of Hong Kong. He is dedicated to promoting CSR as a progressive business model that permits corporations and SMEs to achieve business sustainability through the launch and compilation of the Business Sustainability Indices covering SMEs in HK and the listed companies in Hong Kong, Greater Bay Area and Greater China. 

 

 

 

 
 

Professor Frank Yam

Board Chair of The University of Waterloo Centre for Information Integrity and Information Systems Assurance (UWCISA), University of Waterloo

 

Professor Frank Yam is the Founder and Chairman of the Focus Strategic Group, leading the organisation in the areas of venture investment, digital transformation, cybersecurity, audit, and compliance. Since 1984, he has been engaged in audit and information security assignments around the world, serving in several international accounting firms—including KPMG Canada, one of the Big Four—as well as multinational financial institutions, where he accumulated extensive professional and managerial experience.

 

Professor Yam has long been dedicated to the professional services sector. He served six terms as an International Director of ISACA Global, and founded the Hong Kong Chapter of the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners (ACFE) in 1999. He is also actively involved in public and community service, holding current or past positions including:

Kenny Chien

Kenny is the CEO of Cherrypicks, an award winning innovator in mobile technology and digital solutions in the Asia-Pacific region. With over 20 years of experience in the ICT industry in Hong Kong and China, he has held key management roles in prominent technology companies. 

 

An active member of various ICT associations, Kenny has served as Honorable Chairman of the Hong Kong Software Industry Association and Vice President of the Internet Professional Association, the HK General Chamber of Commerce for Small and Medium Business, and the eHealth Consortium. He is also a Council Member of the Smart City Consortium, the IT Joint Council and the Greater Bay Area International IT Industry Association.

 

Passionate about leveraging technology for societal benefit, Kenny participates in several government consultative panels and has served as Chairman of Fu Hong Society, an NGO dedicated to supporting individuals with intellectual disabilities and mental challenges.

 

 

 
 

Mike Wong

CEO, The Chamber of Hong Kong Listed Companies

 

Mike Wong has over 30 years of experience in the financial services field. In his current position at the Chamber of Hong Kong Listed Companies (the “Chamber”), Mike is responsible for the operation of this listed company-focused organisation, including dealing with regulators and the stock exchange on listing rules- and regulations-related matters, providing seminars and professional trainings to directors and executives of listed companies and promoting corporate governance and ESG.

 

Previously, Mike worked at the Stock Exchange of Hong Kong where he held various positions at corporate communications and market development and gained in-depth knowledge about the stock market and financial products. Mike left the Exchange to join an investor relations specialist firm. In the years that followed, Mike worked with a number of international public relations firms, continuing to counsel Hong Kong and mainland listed issuers on cross-border investor communications. Immediately prior to joining the Chamber in 2006, Mike was the Hong Kong managing director of a US-based public relations company. 

 

Mike has an MBA degree from the Hong Kong University of Science & Technology and a BA degree from the University of Hong Kong.

 

 

 
 

Richard Tsang

Chairman, the Hong Kong Institute of Directors

 

Richard is the founder of Strategic Public Relations Group, one of the most recognised integrated public relations networks in the world. With more than three decades of experience in financial communications, investor relations, and corporate advisory, he is widely respected for his strategic insight into corporate governance, stakeholder engagement, and sustainable value creation.

 

Beyond his professional accomplishments, Richard plays a prominent role in both the business and community spheres. He holds over 100 board, committee, and advisory positions spanning 50 organisations across the business, religious, education, government, and non-governmental sectors, reflecting his deep commitment to community development and social impact.

 

Richard currently serves as Chairman of The Hong Kong Institute of Directors and President of Enterprise Asia, where he advocates excellence in corporate governance, responsible leadership, and sustainable entrepreneurship. His other key roles include Vice President of The Methodist Church, Hong Kong; Member of the Hong Kong Tourism Board; Member of the Steering Committee on Prevention and Control of Non-Communicable Diseases under the Health Bureau; Member of the Quality Education Fund Steering Committee and its Dissemination and Promotion Sub-committee under the Education Bureau; and Council Member of UNICEF Hong Kong, to name but a few. These roles illustrate his holistic perspective on sustainability, social responsibility and public well-being.

 

To further his commitment to ESG, Richard founded Strategic CSR Network Limited in 2014, a non-governmental organisation dedicated to connecting corporations, NGOs, charitable organisations and volunteers to support underprivileged communities in Hong Kong. Stanley Zheng (Cheng) 

Chief Secretarial Officer, The ESG Consortium

 

Stanley Zheng (Cheng) serves as the Chief Secretarial Officer (Secretary General) of The ESG Consortium. He is a passionate advocate for sustainability, leveraging innovation and technology to drive ESG adoption among SMEs. Alongside his role as the Executive Vice Chairman of the Hong Kong General Chamber of Small and Medium Business (HKGCSMB), he actively supports and advocates for the interests of SMEs, fostering an environment where collaboration and shared learning are paramount.

 

His notable technological projects, including the “Macau to GuangDong” health code exchange blockchain platform had brought about transformative changes. Building on this strong foundation, Stanley continues to expand his influence through his AI project experience, utilising AI to enhance ESG inclusion. By applying advanced tech solutions, he helps lower the barriers for SMEs to adopt sustainable practices, ensuring that ESG integration aligns with the core "4S" standards of being affordable, scalable, measurable, and actionable.

 

In addition to his professional pursuits, he organises charity cycling events to support non-subvented NGOs in Hong Kong. Combining his dedication to ESG, influential public roles, and meticulous project management, Stanley empowers SMEs and promotes positive, scalable societal changes.

 

 

 
 

Dr Welland Chu 

President, ISACA China Hong Kong Chapter

 

Dr Welland Chu is a distinguished cyber security and data privacy leader with over 30 years of experience advising governments, law enforcement agencies, and global financial institutions. He has shaped key developments in FinTech, Data Privacy, Post Quantum Cryptography (PQC), and Multi-Hybrid Cloud Security across Hong Kong and the region. As President of the ISACA China Hong Kong Chapter and a Standing Committee Member at the PCPD, he provides strategic leadership and advice on governance, regulatory policy, AI, PQC and cloud security. A respected educator and industry voice, he has delivered executive level security programmes and is widely recognised for his expertise in digital risk governance.

 

Welland holds a Ph.D. from King's College London and is certified as CISA, CISM, AAIA, and AAISM. He frequently lectures in postgraduate programs and speaks to both public and private sector audiences, including international organisations such as INTERPOL. He is a recipient of the Cyber Security Professional Award in Jan 2026.
 

 

 

 
 

Wendy Wen Yee YUNG

Corporate Governance Advocate and Founder of Practising Governance

 

Wendy Wen Yee YUNG is an advocate for good corporate governance in Hong Kong and founded "Practising Governance" for this cause.

 

Wendy is also an independent non-executive director of Vitasoy International Limited (listed on the Stock Exchange of Hong Kong (HKEX) ), and a co-opted member of the Hospital Governing Committee of Queen Mary Hospital/Tsan Yuk Hospital. In addition, she is a member of the Listing Review Committee of HKEX.

 

Prior to founding “Practising Governance”, Wendy was Executive Director and Company Secretary of Hysan Development. Over the years, she had served as a member of the Listing Committee of HKEX, the Standing Committee on Company Law Reform, and (representing HKICPA) the Professional Accountants in Business Committee of the International Federation of Accountants.

 

First trained as a solicitor, Wendy also qualified as a certified public accountant and a governance practitioner in Hong Kong. She graduated with First Class Honours in Law from Oxford University, United Kingdom.

 

 

 
 

Dr William Yu

Founder and Chief Executive Officer, World Green Organisation

 

Dr William Yu is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of World Green Organisation. He is an energy economist and climate professional by training and completed his PhD at the University of Cambridge. He earned an Executive MBA from the Thunderbird Global Management School, U.S.. Dr Yu also completed a Sustainable Finance Programme at Cambridge and accredited by UNDP as trainer on United Nations SDG Impact Standards.

 

Dr Yu is ESBN Task Force Member, The United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific, and the Vice-Chair of Asia Pacific Business Forum (APBF) of the United Nations ESBN 2022. He is also a member in Advisory Council on the Environment (ACE), Environment and Ecology Bureau and member in the Council for Carbon Neutrality and Sustainable Development, HKSAR Government.

 

Dr Yu is also Advisor on Certified ESG Planner (CEP) qualification and Certified China Carbon Trader of Shanghai Environment Energy Exchange, advising investment banks and public accounting firms on Forestry Carbon Credit Projects, Valuation of Carbon Assets and Carbon Trading.
